Orlando Golden Krust
About Us

The first Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill opened its doors in 1989, in the Bronx, Ny by Jamaican born Lowell Hawthorne & his nine siblings.  The Hawthorne siblings preserved traditional recipes passed down from their parents Mavis & Ephraim Hawthorne, who owned a small bakery in St. Andrews, Jamaica.

There are currently four Orlando locations to serve you. Our first location at 5510 W. Colonial Drive, open its door on August 5th, 2005. It was the first Central Florida location, followed by 2753 N. Hiawassee Rd., which opened in September 10th, 2011, Alafaya trail on December 5th, 2013, and Clermont on November 5th, 2014

On any given day, you can expect to find a wide variety of meals prepared just for you by GK's experienced chefs. At our locations you will experience authentic Island flavors with true Island vibes.

Keeping true to Golden Krust's promise to take the 'taste of the Caribbean to the world', our full scale bakery now supplies our authentic breads, buns, and pastries to many Grocers, Restaurants and Caribbean outlets in Florida. Our freshly baked buns, breads, and pastries have quickly become a must have by many.

Golden Krust Orlando is committed to providing you with the very best quality Caribbean cuisine away from home. We are also strongly committed to giving back to the community. We sponsor many local events that enrich Caribbean culture and our young prople.
